About Care Cairn

Care Cairn turns a scattered family care routine into one private, structured handoff. Keep the practical details a relief caregiver needs close at hand, without an account, ads, or a remote service.

PLAN THE DAY
- See due notes, appointments, handoff needs, and refill dates on one dashboard.
- Use the smart brief to surface incomplete or time-sensitive records.
- Add, edit, search, filter, sort, and complete care notes.

KEEP A HANDOFF-READY CARE RECORD
- Maintain an emergency card with contacts, allergies, providers, pharmacy details, and notes.
- Record a medication name, the amount shown on its label or care plan, timing, purpose, prescriber, refill date, and notes.
- Use the daily checklist to mark scheduled entries given and review seven days of checklist history.
- Schedule optional on-device reminders for due care notes and entered refill dates.

SEE WHAT YOU ENTERED OVER TIME
- Log weight, blood pressure, blood sugar, heart rate, temperature, comfort, or a plain-language observation.
- View dated trend charts and transparent entry averages.
- Charts summarize only entered values. Care Cairn does not interpret readings, set thresholds, or create health alerts.

EXPORT AND BACK UP
- Create a printable PDF handoff packet.
- Share a plain-text summary, CSV-style care records, or medication list.
- Save and restore the complete local record as one JSON backup file.

PRIVACY BY DEFAULT
Care Cairn stores records on the device. There is no account, advertising, third-party analytics, or backend service. Data leaves the app only when you choose an export or backup destination.

Care Cairn is a personal organizer. It does not calculate medication amounts, interpret readings, set health targets, diagnose, treat, or replace instructions from a clinician, pharmacist, medication label, or care plan. The in-app Safety & Sources page explains each summary method and links to public caregiver guidance.
