What this means
Contact matching, review decisions, local vCard backups, and the merge transaction journal stay in Contactmend's private on-device container. Live contact changes use Apple's Contacts framework only after you grant permission.
Contactmend has no account system, developer-operated backend, advertising, analytics, tracking, or remote configuration. Practice Lab uses bundled synthetic records and does not request Contacts access.
- Contactmend does not send contacts, backups, merge plans, or journal entries to Shadowfetch or another developer-operated service.
- A vCard leaves the app only when you deliberately use the Apple share sheet and choose a destination.
App Store purchases, downloads, crash diagnostics you elect to share with Apple, and other Apple services are handled by Apple under Apple's own policies. Shadowfetch does not receive your payment-card number.
Support messages
If you contact Shadowfetch, the email and information you choose to send are used to answer the request and maintain a minimal support record. Do not send passwords, private keys, health records, or other sensitive material.
